Water Disruption - Saturday 1st June - Clonard, Sandyford 9am - 3pm

Due to essential maintenance works on the water mains supplying the area, the water supply to Clonard Estate, Sandyford shall be disrupted on Saturday 1st of June between 9am and 3pm (approx).


Customers are advised that on the completion of the works there may be some initial discolouration of the water. Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

The Local Authority regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers by the interruption of water supply and will ensure that such interruptions will be kept to the minimum necessary.

Due to a technical problem which has now been rectified, the water supply has been restored to the above areas.

Water Disruption - Ballybrack/Loughlinstown/Killiney - Wednesday 29th May 2013 @ 10am

Due to essential maintenance work on the watermain supplying the area, Ballybrack/Loughlinstown/Killiney will be affected by a reduced water pressure between the hours of 10am and 1pm on Wednesday 29th May 2013.

After any work on the watermain there may be some initial discolouration or particles in the water.  Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

Water Disruption - Ballinclea Road, Killiney - Friday 24th May @ 9.30am

Update at 4.00pm:

Water should be restored by 5pm this evening, but may take some time to get to all households, it is estimated that all households should have their water back by 6.00 pm this evening.


After any work on the watermain there may be some initial discolouration or particles in the water. Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

Water Disruption - York Road, Dun Laoghaire - Wednesday 22nd May @ 2.30pm


Water has been turned off in the York Road, Dun Laoghaire area, due to a burst watermain. The Water Crew are currently on site repairing this main and it is hoped to have water restored as soon as possible.


This may also affect:

Library Road
Cross Avenue, Dun Laoghaire

and surrounding areas.

Moreen Estate, Sandyford - water disruption 21st May 2013 @ 1 pm



Due to a burst watermain, water has been turned off in the Moreen Estate and surrounding areas in order to necessitate repair.

The Water Crew are currently on site repairing the main and it is hoped to have water restored as soon as possible.  At this stage an exact time cannot be given when water will be restored.

After any work on the watermain there may be some initial discolouration or particiles in the water.  Allowing taps to run for a short period of time can help water to clear.

Water Disruption - Killiney Heath - Thursday 16th May 2013

Update at 3.40pm:  Water has now been restored.
Thanks for your patience.

Due to a water leak at Killiney Heath households are experiencing disruption to their water supply.

Works are ongoing to find and fix this leak.

Water bowsers will be located at each of the three cul de sacs on Killiney Heath this afternoon. Containers can be filled, but please note for drinking purposes water should be boiled first.
